Malware are the biggest problems in today's world I'll tell you something about it.So what the word MALWARES actually means.Malware is a short form of the word "malicious software". There are many categorizes in it.
- Virus :- These are very well known stuff. A virus is a piece of code(malicious code) that is usually made to harm software or the OS(operating system). They can infect a computer and can spread through the network,they can be called as parasite. But the most shocking thing that some are so powerful that they can even damage the hardware of the system!!!!!
- Trojan's :- Trojan or Trojan Horse what ever you call them.They are most common of all malware's. Their main intention is not to infect the victim's PC but control them. The are coded by the most brilliant programers(or Hackers). But the biggest drawback of this trojans is that the cannot infect you until you open, but many hackers bind their trojans with some other files to fool you. Ones infected the hacker have full control of your PC they can even format your PC.
- Worm's :- Worms are quite similar to virus unlike trojans they do not require any host to spread the can multiply themselves, infect files, attach themselves to mails, the can spread in a network.They are big problem to an open network.
- Keylogger's :- Keyloggers are especially made to log your keystrokes and send it to the hacker.There are two types of keyloggers a)Hardware keylogger and b)Software keyloggers.
- RAT's :- RAT stand for Remote Administration Tool. They are similar to trojans. But they can be operated by script kiddes without any prior knowledge of programming.
- Adware's :- Adware's are a way of advertsing a product. They might contain harmful virus or spying software.
